Kolukkumalai Tea estate is the world's highest tea estate at about 8000ft. It's spread over the peaks of the Western Ghats and is truly where heaven meets earth. The tea from the estate is praised for its exquisite flavor due to the altitude.
Anayirankal Dam
Anayirankal Dam is truly breathtaking with its expanse, as the name suggest "Anayirankal" ,it is a watering hole for the indigenous elephants and other local fauna. The lake was also part of the hydel project by the Kerala government, aimed to promote tourism in the area.
